The main challenge was to create consistency between the furniture and the refrigerator & freezer corner. With these thoughts in mind, I started with a “L” shape design for the cabinets. In the center of the kitchen, they imagined a minimalist island table with 2 seats and plenty of storage room. The owners wanted the kitchen cabinets to be on a single wall, while the refrigerator and the freezer would stand alone, not incorporated within the furniture. My mission was to integrate these dark, strong accents into a balanced decoration that inspire an industrial, clean & stylish vibe.įirst things first, functionality was key for this project.
